Sec. 5.179. Authority to Make Settlements. Pursuant to Section 935.4 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Mayor, City Attorney and Claims Board of the City of Los Angles are hereby authorized to perform those functions of the City Council, as more particularly set forth in Article 2 of this chapter, as described in Part 3, Division 3.6, Title I of the Government Code of the State of California. The authority delegated to the Mayor, City Attorney and Claims Board, respectively, is limited by the provisions of the City Charter and Article 2 of this chapter. SECTION HISTORY Based on Ord.
