Sec. 311.

s Division (Signs). 8. Prohibited Signs Signs are prohibited if they: a. contain obscene matters, as defined in California Penal Code, Part 1. (of Crimes and Punishments), Sec. 311. (Obscene Matter). b. contain or consist of posters, pennants, banners, ribbons, streamers or spinners, except as permitted in Sec. 4C.11.2. (Temporary Signs). c. contain flashing, mechanical and strobe lights in conflict with the provisions of Chapter VIII. (Traffic), Sec. 80.08.4. (Flashing Lights – Interference With Traffic Signals) or Chapter IX. (Building Regulations), Sec. 93.0107. (Distracting, Confusing or Nuisance Lighting Viewed From Public Streets, Highways or Other Public Thoroughfares Used by Vehicular Traffic) of this code. d. Are revolving and where all or any portion rotate at greater than six revolutions per minute. e. Are tacked, pasted or otherwise temporarily affixed on the walls of buildings, barns, sheds, trees, poles, posts or fences, except as permitted in Sec. 4C.11.2. (Temporary Signs). f. Are affixed to any vehicle or trailer on private property if the vehicle or trailer is not intended to be otherwise used in the business and the sole purpose of attaching the sign to the vehicle or trailer is to attract people to a place of business. g. emit audible sounds, odor or visible matter. | 4-140 [ FOrM - FrONt AGe - STANDARDS ] [ USe - DeNSit Y ] Div. 4C.11.
