Sec. 13B.1.3.

n shall consider the matter and make a report and recommendation to the city council . b. if the matter was initiated by either the city Planning commission or the Director, and the city Planning commission recommends denial of the proposed ordinance, the decision is final. c. Time to Act i. the city Planning commission shall act within 75 days of receipt of the Director’s report and recommendation. ii. if the city Planning commission does not act by that deadline, or any extension, the city council may then, by resolution, request the Planning commission to forward the matter to it for the city council ’s action. iii. if the city council does not do so, the time for the Planning commission to act shall automatically be extended for an additional 75 days. the city council may request the Planning commission forward the matter at any time within any 75-day continuance period. iv. if the Planning commission fails to act on an initiation within the time allowed by this Subdivision, the Planning commission shall be deemed to have approved the ordinance. 4. City Council Action a. After the city Planning commission has made its report and recommendation, or after the time for it to act has expired, the city council may consider the matter. Sec. 13B.1.3.
